DAVID WALLIAMS TAKES CHARGE OF WALL OF FAME – SKY 1 HD’s ALL NEW ENTERTAINMENT PANEL SHOW 8 × 30” FROM 17th JUNE 2011
Taking up the hot seat Walliams will preside over two teams of three in a celebrity panel show that tackles the latest stories to set tongues wagging – from the latest You Tube phenomenon through to celebrity tittle tattle – if the nation have been gossiping about it, the players will need to know all about it.
At the opening of each show a giant wall featuring the 25 famous faces will be unveiled. As the focal point for the show this WALL OF FAME will spark off lines of questioning for a series of riotous rounds that will see will see panellists playing merry hell with the biggest stories of the week.
Anyone who’s anyone will be up on the wall and Walliams will hold court in a contest that finds out which team has their finger on the pulse of pop culture. He commented: “I’m looking forward to taking control of the Wall of Fame, my new weekly, newsy, quizzy, gossipy, entertainment show. This may not be hard news but I shall nevertheless be taking my quiz master role most seriously… with lots of laughter.”
The tongue in cheek topical show is produced for Sky 1 HD by CPL Productions, producers of A League Of Their Own – the executive producers are Murray Boland, Danielle Lux and Jim Pullin with Chris Curley the series producer. The series was commissioned by Duncan Gray, Head of Entertainment for Sky.
