Winning Lines

Winning Lines is a fast-paced, number based quiz show that was an integral part of the National Lottery Draw onBBC One every Saturday night from 1999 to 2004. On its launch in the summer of 1999, Winning Lines gained the highest debut rating of any new Saturday night BBC entertainment series. After five series, Winning Lines continued to be a hit with viewers and a ratings success.

Answering questions posed by host Phillip Schofield (and formerly Simon Mayo), 49 contestants battle for a chance to play the Wonderwall, where 20 correct answers win the top prize of a round-the-world trip.

Winning Lines was recently repeated on Challenge.
