Celebrating the Carpenters

Forty years since the release of the Carpenters debut LP this musical spectacular for ITV1 celebrates the sounds and successes of the influential duo with some of the greatest pop stars of today.

Hosted by Amanda Holden and Ronan Keating and made in collaboration with Richard Carpenter, Celebrating the Carpenters, sees the following artists take to the stage to perform their own unique versions of some of the Carpenters best loved songs:

• Chrissie Hynde performing Superstar
• Dionne Warwick performing Close to You
• The Feeling performing Solitaire
• Beverley Knight performing We’ve Only Just Begun
• Noisettes performing Goodbye To Love
• Ronan Keating performing I Won’t Last a Day Without You
• The Saturdays performing Please, Mr Postman

And, exclusively for the show, Jamie Cullum and Kimberley Walsh perform a duet of Rainy Days and Mondays.
