This one-off programme sees some of the brightest kids in the country battling it out for the coveted title of Britain’s Brainiest Kid.
From the thousands of exceptional young people who entered the competition, only 24 made it through to the grand final in 2001 and 10 girls and boys made it through in 2002. Hosted by Carol Vorderman, (with Tess Daly hosting the semi-final heats) these exceptional children are put to the ultimate test as they face questions on general knowledge and on their own chosen subjects with only the quickest and cleverest making it through, until just one contestant remains to become the proud owner of the Britain’s Brainiest Kid trophy.
