CPL Productions’ Old People’s Home for 4 Year Old Producers in France, Spain and the Netherlands have picked up a UK reality format that explores if elderly people’s health can be improved by being brought together with preschoolers.
Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds was created and produced by Red Arrow Entertainment’s CPL Productions for Channel 4 in the UK.
The format has now been picked up by BlazHoffski in the Netherlands and by Banijay in France and Spain, with deals also secured with as-yet-unnamed companies in Australia and Sweden. Red Arrow International distributes.
The show, which premiered on C4 in August, brings a group of elderly retirement home residents together with a group of preschoolers to test if it improves the health and wellbeing of the older people.
Henrik Pabst, MD of Red Arrow International, described the show as “one of the most innovative, emotional and life-affirming new formats” he had seen.
